The power behind performance

01 — The need

Growth exposes every weakness in the way a business operates.

What worked with a small team often breaks under more clients, more employees, more locations, and more complexity. Decisions slow down. Managers solve the same problems repeatedly. Financial information arrives too late. The owner becomes the operating system.

PPG steps into that gap. We align leadership, financial insight, people systems, and operational execution so the business can grow without creating unnecessary chaos, risk, or dependence on a single person.

Signs you may need us

When growth is real—but the structure has not caught up.

These challenges are rarely caused by a lack of effort. They appear when the organization needs a higher level of leadership, clarity, and operating discipline.

01

The founder or senior leader is still the answer to every operational question.

02

Revenue is growing, but profitability and cash needs are difficult to predict.

03

Managers are working hard without shared priorities, scorecards, or accountability.

04

Processes change by person, department, or location—and important details get dropped.

05

The business has a strong vision, but implementation repeatedly loses momentum.

06

Hiring, onboarding, and performance conversations feel reactive instead of intentional.

Why fractional leadership

Senior leadership, built around what your business needs now.

Fractional leaders operate inside the business for a defined portion of time. The model gives you executive-level capability and accountability while preserving flexibility.

01

Executive capability now

Bring seasoned leadership into the organization before a full-time executive role makes financial or operational sense.

02

Focused expertise

Match the leadership mix to the actual constraint—operations, finance, people, implementation, or a combination.

03

Practical implementation

Move beyond recommendations with leaders who build the system, work with the team, and stay accountable for progress.

04

Flexible scale

Increase or reduce support as priorities change and your internal leaders become more capable and independent.

Leadership capabilities

The leadership your next level requires.

Engage one function or combine them into a coordinated leadership team. Every scope is designed around the constraint that is limiting performance today.

01

Fractional COO

Executive operational leadership for organizations that have outgrown informal systems but are not ready for a full-time COO.

When this helps

Growth has created bottlenecks, unclear ownership, inconsistent execution, or a founder who is still carrying too much of the operation.

What we lead
  • Company-wide operating priorities and execution plans
  • Department accountability and performance rhythms
  • Workflow redesign, KPI development, and capacity planning
  • Leadership alignment and cross-functional problem solving
Expected outcome

A business that runs with greater consistency, accountability, and confidence—without depending on one person to hold everything together.

02

Fractional CFO

Financial leadership that turns reporting into practical decisions about profitability, staffing, cash flow, and growth.

When this helps

Leadership can see revenue, but not always the full story behind margin, labor cost, cash needs, or which investments will produce the strongest return.

What we lead
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow visibility
  • Executive financial dashboards and reporting rhythms
  • Profitability analysis by service line or department
  • Scenario planning and growth investment support
Expected outcome

Clearer financial decisions, healthier margins, and a leadership team that understands where the business is making—or losing—money.

03

Fractional HR Director

People leadership that creates clearer expectations, stronger managers, and a more consistent employee experience.

When this helps

Hiring is reactive, managers handle issues differently, onboarding varies by department, or performance problems are addressed too late.

What we lead
  • Role clarity, job descriptions, and organizational design
  • Hiring, onboarding, training, and competency systems
  • Performance management and manager coaching
  • Practical policies, communication, and culture support
Expected outcome

A stronger team structure where people understand what success looks like, managers lead consistently, and accountability feels fair.

04

Operations Management

Hands-on operational support that translates the leadership plan into reliable daily execution.

When this helps

The strategy is sound, but recurring tasks, follow-up, communication, documentation, or ownership gaps keep slowing progress.

What we lead
  • SOP development and process documentation
  • Project ownership and implementation tracking
  • Meeting rhythms, scorecards, and follow-through
  • Service delivery, quality, and client experience workflows
Expected outcome

Less operational noise, fewer dropped details, and processes your team can actually follow and sustain.

05

Executive Advisory

A trusted operating perspective for owners and executives navigating growth, change, or complex organizational decisions.

When this helps

Leaders need experienced, objective guidance but do not need another consultant who delivers a presentation and disappears.

What we lead
  • Strategic planning and priority setting
  • Organizational change and leadership transitions
  • Decision support for expansion and restructuring
  • Executive coaching and leadership-team facilitation
Expected outcome

Better decisions made faster, with a practical partner who understands both the strategy and the work required to execute it.

Industries we understand

Complex, people-powered organizations.

Our experience is strongest where client service, compliance, workflow, financial performance, and employee execution are closely connected.

01

Law Firms

Case-flow accountability, intake and conversion, client communication, staffing models, matter-stage visibility, settlement operations, and financial performance.

02

Healthcare Practices

Patient access, multi-site consistency, clinical support workflows, staff competencies, provider capacity, quality controls, and sustainable practice growth.

03

Growing Organizations

Organizational design, management systems, operating rhythms, financial clarity, process standardization, and strategic execution during expansion or change.

The leaders behind your growth

You are not buying a report. You are bringing experienced leaders into the business.

PPG’s founders are the product: three operators with complementary strengths who know how to diagnose complexity, lead people through change, and stay close enough to implementation to produce a measurable result.

View all FAQs
What does “fractional leadership” mean?

Fractional leadership gives your organization access to experienced executive talent for a defined portion of time. You receive senior-level direction, decision support, and implementation leadership without adding a full-time executive position before the business is ready.

How is PPG different from a traditional consultant?

Traditional consultants often diagnose a problem and deliver recommendations. PPG works as an operating partner. We help set the direction, build the systems, lead the implementation, coach the people responsible, and measure whether the changes are producing results.

How do I know whether we need a fractional COO, CFO, or HR Director?

The right starting point depends on where the greatest constraint sits. If execution and accountability are the issue, a fractional COO may lead. If financial visibility is limiting decisions, a fractional CFO may be the priority. If hiring, management, or performance systems are inconsistent, HR leadership may create the fastest impact. Our initial assessment helps identify the correct mix.

What does an engagement typically include?

Every engagement is tailored, but most include an operational assessment, a focused action plan, clear success measures, recurring executive meetings, direct work with leaders and teams, and implementation support. The level of weekly involvement depends on the scope and urgency.
